Emergency boiler hire, any hour of any day
Your boiler has failed and the building is going cold. Ring 01782 274537 and you will reach an engineer who can size a unit and tell you when it will be there. Not a call centre, and not a callback in the morning.

Boiler down? Emergency hire seven days a week, 365 days a year.
0800 644 6240What happens when you ring us at two in the morning
An emergency is not a quotation exercise. You need to know two things: can they help, and when will they be here. Everything else can wait until the heat is back on.
So the person who answers is an engineer. They will ask what the plant is doing, what it is rated at and what the building is, because a good proportion of faults are resolved on the phone by your own maintenance team without hiring anything at all. If yours is one of them, we will tell you.
If it is not, we size a unit against your existing boiler, tell you a realistic arrival time rather than an optimistic one, and start loading. Most installations are producing heat within a few hours of the unit arriving on site.

The calls that come in at the worst possible time
Boilers fail in the cold, which is exactly when a building can least afford it.
Hospital and care plant failure
Priority response where a heating or hot water outage is a safeguarding issue rather than an inconvenience, with units sized against ward and hot water demand.
A school with no heat on a Monday
Weekend and overnight installation so the building is warm before anyone arrives, rather than a day of closure while a repair is diagnosed.
Process heat down mid-shift
Where the heat is the production line, not the comfort. We size against the process load and get the line running again.
Vulnerable residents in the cold
Care homes, sheltered housing and supported accommodation, where a cold building overnight is not something you can manage around.
Burst pipework and flood damage
Where the plant survived but the system did not, a hire unit runs the building while the pipework is put right.
A repair that has overrun
The permanent fix was meant to take two days and is now taking two weeks. We cover the gap so the programme is the contractor’s problem, not the building’s.
What we can honestly promise
Scotland and the far South West are a planned same-day delivery rather than a two-hour one. We will tell you the real drive time on the call instead of an optimistic one.
From your call to a unit on the road
You reach an engineer
Not an answering service. Someone who can ask the right questions about what the plant is actually doing.
We triage
Some faults are fixed by your own team in ten minutes. If yours is one, we will say so rather than sell you a hire.
We size and load
Matched against your existing boiler’s rating and the building’s demand, then loaded with the hoses and fittings the connection needs.
We install and commission
Delivered, connected, filled, vented and commissioned. Then collected once your permanent plant is back.
Set up for the call nobody wants to make
Genuinely 24/7
Not an answering machine with a callback in the morning. A good proportion of our installations happen overnight and at weekends, because that is when plant fails and when buildings are empty enough to work in.
Our own engineers
The person who sizes it travels with it and commissions it. There is no handover to a local subcontractor who has never seen our plant.
The whole fleet in one yard
One central base means an emergency call is not a hunt for which depot has the right unit. Whatever your building needs is in the same place as everything else.
Repair as well as hire
Most emergency callers need heat today and a plan for next week. We can do both without you bringing in a second contractor.
Frequently asked questions about emergency boiler hire
If yours is not answered here, ring and ask. You will get a straight answer rather than a callback form.
Same day across most of England and Wales. Manchester and Birmingham are about an hour from our Stoke-on-Trent base, Liverpool ninety minutes, London around three hours. Scotland and the far South West are a planned same-day delivery. We will give you a realistic arrival time on the phone rather than an optimistic one.
Yes, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and you will reach an engineer rather than a call handler taking a message. A good proportion of our work is installed overnight or at a weekend, precisely so the building is warm before it opens.
What the plant is doing, roughly what your existing boiler is rated at, what the building is used for, and the site postcode. That is enough to size a unit and give you a time. If you can send a photograph of the boiler data plate, better still.
Keep the system full and pressurised if you safely can, isolate anything that is leaking, and leave the plant off rather than repeatedly resetting a boiler that is locking out. We will talk you through it on the call. Repeatedly resetting a locked-out boiler is how a repairable fault becomes a replacement.
The weekly rate is the same. What changes is delivery, because an emergency means a dedicated vehicle rather than a planned run. We will tell you that figure before you commit to anything.
Often, yes, and we will say so if that is the cheaper answer. Where the plant is beyond economic repair, a hire unit keeps the building running while a replacement is specified and fitted.

Tell us the site, what has failed and roughly what capacity you think you need. For a genuine emergency, ring rather than fill this in.
